Few days ago, leaked information had revealed that the Apple iPhone SE 2 may feature a glass rear instead of the metallic body found on the original iPhone SE. Now, a well-known case maker has a listed a screen protector designed for the upcoming iPhone SE 2 on its website. The design of the screen protector reveals that the handset will feature a notched design like the iPhone X.
The render that shows the iPhone SE 2 smartphone along with its screen protector reveals that it does not feature a front-mounted Touch ID sensor. Moreover, it the screen is surrounded by slim bezels. The wireframe schematics of the handset shows that its length will be around 120mm and its width will be around 54.82mm.
The width of the notch 18.7mm only which indicates that its size considerably smaller than the notch available on the iPhone X’s display. This indicates that the iPhone SE 2 may not be equipped with TrueDepth camera system of the iPhone X. Hence, the iPhone SE 2 may not feature 3D facial scanning feature. There is a possibility that the handset may include general face unlock feature that is not accurate as the Face ID feature. Could it be coming with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner? There is no confirmation on whether the iPhone SE 2 will feature Touch ID or not.
Some rumors have claimed that the iPhone SE 2 may get unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2018 in the coming month. There are some speculations that state that the iPhone SE 2 may get unveiled alongside other three rumored iPhone X-like smartphones later this year in September.
